Raw P&D Tail-On White Shrimp have been recalled because they contain sulfites, which were not declared on the package label, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Chicken of the Sea Frozen Food is recalling 3,200 cases of its Raw P&D Tail-On White Shrimp.

People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to sulfites run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product, the agency said.

Consumers should visit the administration’s website to see if their 5-pound bag of shrimp is included in the recall.

The product was sold exclusively to Whole Foods and distributed across the country. Whole Foods uses some of the recalled product in its in-store delis.

The remaining portion of the lot was sold in Canada, according to the FDA.

Consumers who have purchased the product are urged to dispose of it or return it to their place of purchase for a full refund, according to the FDA announcement.
